SuperPro already offers the most comprehensive suspension and chassis upgrades for the VW and Audi MQB platform vehicles, and now they have added the new SuperPr Camber Strut Mounts to their lineup. These new mounts provide a fixed amount of additional negative camber for these vehicles that have no factory adjustment to add negative camber and struggle to maximize the front tire contact patch while cornering. Adding 1.4 degrees of negative camber to both sides of these vehicles provides greater cornering grip at the front of the car without inducing excessive wear or compromising straight line acceleration or braking performance.

Most adjustable upper strut mounts on the market require cutting of the unibody to permit adjustment, and commonly use a range of bearing designs that can bring significant noise into the cabin in daily use. The SuperPro Camber Strut Mounts offers the benefit of additional negative camber while transmitting no additional noise or harshness to the driver or occupants. When paired with the SuperPro Alloy Arm Kit (ALOY0018K) or the SPF4176K caster offset bushing kit, the front end authority of the car is transformed. Increased grip, accuracy, feel and feedback are the name of the game with geometry optimized for performance, handling and balance.

Second MQB car, wish I did these on my last!

Title says it all - came from a 17 A3 Quattro with the usual coils + sway/endlinks. The car handled great, but was always a bit lackluster.. Fast forward to my RS3 and handling was lacking in comparison with the added weight.

I looked into the Eurosport option, but was pushed off a bit by putting the strut at a cockeye and side loading the suspension. After a horrible experience on my A3 with the 034 strut bearing/mounts, I figured I'd try the SuperPro option - THESE are the best things one can do for these cars.

After 1,000 miles I'm comfortable reviewing these, so here's what I've found about them.

Pros:
- Alignment is at -2.7 camber with EMD springs.
- Steering feel is increased
- Turn in is more responsive
- Grip in corners is endless
- Understeer is decreased
- Tire wear decreased
- Car looks proper!

Cons:
- Minimal comfort decrease, maybe 10-15% rougher on bumps?
- Not enough lubrication, even though they're sent pre-lubed.
- My bits were stripped on the bottom, so I was unable to open them up to lube inside..
- Because of this, running into slight noise while turning at low speeds on heavy lock.

The benefits of these plates greatly outweigh the cons. I'm going to open them up if I can and get some SuperLube silicon grease in there to hopefully help with noise.

TL;DR - Buy these if you want your car to handle like it's on rails, these are a MUST for track day/auto-x work and even spirited daily driving. Jay was super helpful in getting them to me quickly!

Great product

Overall I would say i'm content with these SuperPro camber strut mounts. While NVH was introduced (more road noise, harsher sounds on dips/bumps etc) steering feel and turn in was dramatically increased. After alignment with ED springs I was sitting at -2.4 in the front. For the price i'd highly recommend it and FasTuning ships fast!

With this camber plates I just got the -2.5 camber I was looking for. Now the car really likes the corners of any track. Love them

One of the best handling mods you can do!

Just installed these on my mk7 gti and I wish I had done this sooner! I have done lots of suspension mods in the past including sway bars and braces and bushings, but none have made quite the difference as these plates. NVH is minimal. 0 vibration, a tiny bit of noise over hard bumps and very little harshness as well. One of the best ways to get camber with no fuss on the MQB platform. A must-do mod!
